HOW TO GET FREE SOFT DRINKS

Have you ever purchased a 12-pack of soft drinks to find that one of the cans is damaged, empty, dented, or all of the above?  When this happens, CALL the 1-800 number on the side of the can and the company WILL REPLACE THE ENTIRE 12-pack.  Many people don't give it a second thought and just discard the can.  The fact is that the beverage companies want you to report any damage so that they can make improvements going forward.  I cannot count the number of times over the many years I've purchased soft drinks where I've purchased a package containing a damaged can.  Each time I reported this to the company, I received a coupon in the mail for a free 12-pack.  Just last week I purchased a 12-pack of Dr Pepper.  Before I could open the package and refrigerate them, one of the cans exploded inside the box.  I called the 1-800 number on the side of the can and received my coupon in the mail today for a free 12-pack of Dr Pepper.

 in response to xboxgurl...   Exactly. You should always contact the company when you receive a defective product. This not only saves you money by receiving a replacement, but it allows the company to improve the quality of their products. Everyone wins.

i also have done this on bad batches of pampers and puppy pads.on the pampers the velcros were defective and the puppy pads were all stuck together and tearing.thanks for this tip it happens open in the 8 pk mt dew botles also.

 in response to heartbroke n raleigh...   The same technique can also apply to other products that are damaged. I recently purchased a packaged of the Velveeta Cheesy Skillets, and the contents inside were open and scattered throughout the box, including the cheese sauce, which had pretty much dried up. I called Kraft and they replaced the box and also included some coupons for future purchases.
